This hotel has a special offer for… stuffed animals. You won't see anything cuter today.

Due to the growing popularity of collectible stuffed animals and toys, a Japanese hotel chain is offering travelers a tiny bed and pajamas for their "travel companions."

The craze for Labubu and other collectible plush toys obviously influences pop culture and fashion , but as it turns out… also the hotel industry .

Traveling with stuffed animals is nothing new to me. After all, I have two sons who have to take their fluffy Pokémon everywhere. Only a parent knows what happens when, after arriving at their destination, they discover their beloved toy is left behind...

Today, however – especially in Asian countries – it's not just little ones who want to share their experiences with cuddly toys, a trend that the Japanese hotel chain Toyoko Inn has noticed. There could only be one answer…

Buy a hotel bed for your stuffed animal

And now, note: For 300 yen, or about 8 zlotys, the Toyoko Inn staff will lend you a special sleeping set for your stuffed animal .

It consists of a tiny bed and, of course, pajamas . Everything is a perfect replica of the set that "standard" customers receive, only, of course, much smaller.

"The pillow, bedding, bathrobe, and bed frame are made of the same materials used in Toyoko Inn hotels. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a feeling of oneness with the plush toy," the hotel website states.

As toys vary, mini pajamas are also available in two sizes.

- There is no doubt that your favorite character will have a peaceful night - assures the hotel staff.

Why do toys need a hotel bed?

The hotel's new service is tied to Oshi-Katsu , a popular Japanese term referring to activities in which fans support their favorite idols, characters, or artists. This could include attending events , collecting merchandise , or traveling with stuffed toys . It's all meant to be a celebration of passion.

What might seem a bit strange here is perfectly natural in Asia . Besides, it seems the hotel chain hit the jackpot, as after testing in Osaka, it expanded the service to 55 more locations. Will European and Polish hotels catch on? I don't think young people in our country would be that interested, but it would be a great idea for parents with children!

What about you? Do you travel with your stuffed animals?
