Berlusconi's legendary estate is up for sale at a jaw-dropping price.

Silvio Berlusconi's residence, famous for its famous parties, has hit the luxury real estate market. The estate, which has cost a fortune, is worth approximately €500 million.

According to Travel Today , the villa has just hit the luxury real estate market and could soon cause a stir. It's valued at around €500 million , making it one of the most expensive private residences in the world.

Located along the Costa Smeralda, this residence combines classic Mediterranean style with a host of modern amenities. It features extensive terraced gardens with cacti and artificial megaliths, sea-view pools , private beach access, and guest cottages set around a man-made volcano .

What else? Definitely worth checking out is the private sea cave , the Roman amphitheater , the well-stocked modern wine cellars , the helipad, and even an underground bunker designed to withstand a nuclear attack. Impressive, isn't it?

But it's not just the luxurious extras that make Berlusconi's residence so valuable. Its history, of course, also factors into the price. The politician purchased it in 1980, and among the guests who have visited the property have been Vladimir Putin , George W. Bush , and Tony Blair .

Rumors about the possible sale of the residence have been circulating since Silvio Berlusconi's time, dating back to 2010 and 2015. The politician publicly denied them each time. After his death in 2023, rumors swirled that the Sultan of Brunei , Hassanal Bolkiah , and the Four Seasons hotel chain, among others, were interested in purchasing the villa. To date, nothing has happened.

Currently owned by Berlusconi's five children, Villa Certosa is listed by Sotheby's International Realty.

According to local newspaper La Nuova Sardegna , Berlusconi's holding company, Fininvest , emphasized that although no deal has been finalized yet, there are numerous interested parties in purchasing the property. There is no doubt that the property will be sold. The only question is when, to whom, and for how much.
