Mara Venier, sensational move to Mediaset? She could join the cast of one of the most beloved programs.

The bond between Rai and Mara Venier is becoming increasingly tenuous as the days pass. The host of Domenica In didn't show up for the Rai schedule presentation, and many major newspapers have reported disagreements between the host and Viale Mazzini, potentially leading to a departure. A possible return to Mediaset for Mara Venier hasn't been ruled out.

Relations between Mara Venier and Rai have reportedly soured following the news that the head writer of Domenica In , Marco Luci , will be replaced in September by Fabio Pastrello , and the same goes for the role of head of structure. The host also reportedly didn't appreciate the back-and-forth to allow her to appear as a guest on Che Tempo che Fa on Rai Nove . Fabio Fazio wanted her for 15 episodes, but in the end Mara Venier only managed to secure ten.

It's still unclear whether Mara Venier will decide to stay at Rai and celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Domenica In . According to Davide Maggio on Instagram, she could move to Mediaset as a commentator on Big Brother . The possibility might not be so far-fetched, but for now the only certainty is that Mara Venier will be a guest on an episode of Tu Si Que Vales, like Ilary Blasi and Alessia Marcuzzi . "I've always said to myself: 'I'll grab everything that comes along, because it'll be gone at any moment,'" she said in an interview with Vanity Fair a few weeks ago.
