Trump’s Newest Target Is ... Beyoncé?

Trump’s Newest Target Is ... Beyoncé?

Hello, Nutsy Fagan, you're the apple of my eye. From CNN, and the indefatigable Daniel Dale who continues, to my eternal amazement, to stay at his post and not flee to a comfortable refuge in Borneo or some place.

President Donald Trump over the weekend called for the prosecution of music superstar Beyoncé—based on something that did not actually happen.

But Joe Biden was old and had terrible syntax.

Trump claimed in a social media post that Beyoncé broke the law by supposedly getting paid $11 million for her endorsement of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris during an October 2024 event in Houston. But there is simply no basis for Trump’s claim that Beyoncé received an $11 million payment related to the Harris campaign, let alone for the endorsement in particular.

Distraction? I don’t know about you, but I’m still interested in the Epstein business. Trump said:

“Well, I haven’t been overly interested in it, you know, it’s something, it’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion. I can say this. Those files were run by the worst scum on earth. They were run by Comey. They were run by Garland. They were run by Biden and all of the people that actually ran the government, including the autopen. Those files were run for four years by those people. If they had anything, I assume they would have released it.”

I have to say that the vision of Merrick Garland as an extravagantly titled Donald Segretti is the funniest goddamn thing I’ve heard in weeks. And did I mention how old Joe Biden is?
