From the custom-made tuxedo to the €350,000 watch worn by Ousmane Dembélé, winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or.

The 69th Ballon d'Or gala is now history, and it has crowned Ousmane Dembélé and Spaniard Aitana Bonmatí as the players of the season. The Frenchman from Paris Saint-Germain beat Lamine Yamal , the other big favorite of the night, who collected the Kopa trophy for best young player at 18 years old. Dembélé couldn't hold back his tears when he remembered his mother upon receiving the 2025 Ballon d'Or and thanked his entire circle for their constant support: "I've always worked as a team. The Ballon d'Or has never been a goal, but now that I have it, it's something exceptional," the 28-year-old explained in his speech.
An event where the red carpet , as in every edition, takes center stage due to the striking and unusual looks of its stars. On this occasion, the big winner of the night appeared dressed in a tuxedo without a bow tie, a style that at first glance might seem improvised, but nothing could be further from the truth.

"For a moment as special as the Ballon d'Or , I chose a suit that tells a story: one of collective effort, precision, and passion for what is done with love," Dembélé himself told the Italian publisher. Speaking about his victory, he added: "If I could speak to young Ousmane, I would tell him that dreams have no limits and that nothing is impossible. Hard work, respect for others, and respect for football: that's the key."

Ousmane's two-piece suit is a tuxedo, the highest standard in formal attire, custom-made for the occasion by the Italian house Zegna . The footballer paired it with a shirt and shoes from the same brand. Any ready-made tuxedo from this brand starts at 4,350 euros , not being custom-made.

The other striking aspect of his look was the watch that everyone could see on his left arm as he raised the iconic football-shaped trophy. It was a watch from the luxury brand Richard Mille - the same brand that Rafa Nadal usually wears -, specifically the RM 67-02 model , the brand's lightest extra-thin self-winding timepiece. Despite its robust aesthetic, the watch weighs just 32 grams , thanks to the combination of TPT® composite materials, grade 5 titanium, and its elastic bracelet, the lightest strap ever created by the brand.

"Thin, light, colorful, elegant, and athletic, it's the watch for all situations. Breaking with its predecessors, Richard Mille designed this model to be adaptable to different sporting disciplines ," the brand explains. With a power reserve of approximately 50 hours, the grade 5 titanium with black DLC treatment gives the main plate a very solid case and a perfectly flat finish to the surfaces, essential qualities for the perfect functioning of the gear train.
The footballer 's model is currently on sale on specialized sites like Chrono24 for a starting price of 350,000 euros.
