Dua Lipa fired her agent for calling for Kneecap's expulsion.

Dua Lipa fired her agent for calling for Kneecap's expulsion.

British artist Dua Lipa has parted ways with her agent, David Levy , after he signed a letter calling for the Irish trio Kneecap to be expelled from the well-known British Glastonbury festival, accused of making anti-Israel slogans, according to the tabloid The Mail on Sunday.

The British outlet, citing music industry sources, said the singer , who is openly pro-Palestinian , was unhappy with her manager's opposition to the Irish group's performance , assumed he was in favor of the war in Gaza, and asked her management company to assign her another agent.

David Levy , who is associated with the British agency William Morris Endeavor, reportedly signed a letter addressed to festival director Michael Eavis and his daughter, Emily Eavis, calling for the Belfast rappers to leave the festival due to their chants praising the terrorist group Hezbollah and calling for the death of the IDF, the Israeli military.

The agency has not commented on Dua Lipa 's alleged dismissal of Levy .

"She sees him as a supporter of Israel's war in Gaza and its terrible treatment of Palestinians, and that was made very clear by the letter she signed and sent to Michael Eavis," the source told the British tabloid .

Irish trio Kneecap was charged by London's Metropolitan Police on May 21 with terrorism for allegedly displaying a flag supporting Hezbollah during the group's performance on November 21, 2024, at London's O2 venue.

One of their singers, Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh , is free on bail and will learn the court ruling on September 26 in the terrorism case in which he is being prosecuted.
