Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum: She talks about time together in front of and behind the camera

Surprising words: In a new interview, Zoë Kravitz talks about her relationship with Channing Tatum.
In October, Zoë Kravitz (36) and Channing Tatum (44) are said to have separated after three years together. Now the actress is talking about her ex-fiancé, indirectly confirming the separation and finding appreciative words for her acting colleague in an interview with the US magazine "Elle" .
During the filming of her directorial debut "Blink Twice" in 2022, the spark between the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz (60) and the actor flew. They were engaged in autumn 2023. A few months after the film's release, the engagement was broken off.
When the fashion magazine asks the actress if the breakup affected her feelings about the film, she reacts irritably: "Not at all. I love this thing we did together and I like him very much. Even when people mention how great his performance is, it warms my heart when I hear that and I'm so happy that all this happened. I'm just so grateful that we were able to go on this journey together."
As his director, Kravitz coaxed a performance from the 44-year-old that audiences had not previously seen from the "Magic Mike" screen stripper. "For Chan, it was about how exciting it would be to see him do something so new and surprising that I knew he was capable of," she praises. In the film about abuse of power, he delivers a monologue in which he looks directly into the camera with an intimidating intensity.

Judging by her comments, Kravitz bears no resentment toward Channing Tatum. "He has so much more to do, and I think he's at a point as an actor where he feels really confident and people are seeing other sides of him," she is reported to have said with a gentle smile, according to the magazine. "He has a lot to offer, and I'm excited for people to continue to experience that."
