Some stars like to show themselves without makeup on social media channels. Sometimes they are even difficult to recognize - without smokey eyes and false eyelashes. We admire them for letting their guard down, because in no other business is fake as popular as with world-famous celebrities.

Hordes of make-up artists and hairdressers take care of their look and make sure that they come as close as possible to the ideal presented by the media. People are always looking for the perfect look. Spots? Never. Hectic spots and red skin? Not in Beverly Hills. Straw-like hair? The radiant celebrities don't have that.

The no-makeup selfies are exactly the counter-trend that makes the stars so approachable and likeable. They reveal freckles, wrinkles, spots, short blonde eyelashes and sometimes greasy hair. Just as we know it. And that's why we love looking at the stars' no-makeup selfies so much.
