"Germany's next Topmodel": No photo of Heidi for favorite Moritz

"Germany's next Topmodel": No photo of Heidi for favorite Moritz

In episode 19 of "Germany's Next Top Model," Heidi Klum turns everyone's head and reveals which candidate reminds her of her daughter.

Heidi Klum's going all out on Thursday: In episode 19 of "Germany's Next Top Model," it's all about colors and showing off your colors. "The new week starts colorful, loud, and exciting," the 51-year-old presenter chimes over superimposed images of the young models on a rotating target, which she throws paint bombs at. Who has delivered and who has to leave...

This week, Austrian designer Marina Hoermanseder (38) is outfitting the male and female models with white designs for the living canvas shoot. She hopes for professional behavior and that the models don't laugh at her extravagant fashion again, as they did in last year's season. Katharina (24) misses her garish designs at the fitting and speculates that something else is in store for the unsuspecting candidates. Photographer Christian Anwander (40) then announces "Rambazamba." The Austrian, who has repeatedly drawn criticism on "GNTM," explains the shoot on the XL hub.

Designer Marina Hoermanseder is beside herself

"I'm going to really let off steam today," enthuses master painter Heidi Klum, wearing frog-green cleaning gloves, at the start of the color challenge. Dancer Josy (19) is the first to strap into her bike and is delighted with her favorite color, blue. "Body tension is important for this shoot," explains Klum. Anwander is satisfied. Katharina (24) lacks the necessary tension – and the liveliness: "You look as if you fell from the fourth floor and are lying lifeless on the floor." Ray (30) also "doesn't make it." Xenia (26) lacks joy in her work. Jannik (22), on the other hand, delivers the best result, while Aaliyah (22) delivers the worst "of all," leading to bitter tears.

For Eva (26), Heidi Klum even picks up the camera herself, and Anwander quickly becomes an artist's apprentice. "The most beautiful picture of the day," says the top model. Meanwhile, backstage, the atmosphere is heated after candidate Moritz (19) refuses to comply with Hoermanseder's request to show her his walk. "I'm not booking him. Are you serious?" she snorts and warns: "Heidi sees everything. Everything!" Moritz later has to justify himself to her and vows to improve.

Favorites Moritz and Katharina get another job

Visiting the model penthouse is former contestant Betty Taube (30), who has a social media challenge ready for the participants. They are to produce a reel that conveys the Los Angeles summer vibe. The 30-year-old wants to see less modeling and more personality. What the candidates don't know is that this is a casting call for a major summer drink campaign in Germany and Austria. The winners are Katharina and Moritz. Ray isn't the type for "envy," but Moritz is.

At the shoot in Palm Springs, campaign photographer Aaron Smith is looking forward to "a good time." He doesn't want to shoot "puppets," but real people. At the same time, there are genuine reactions in the penthouse, where successful candidate Moritz's listlessness and behavior are criticized. He should show more gratitude, according to his colleagues.

On the day of the contest, Klum's "very good friend" Paris Hilton lit up the hallowed halls of the runway show in downtown Los Angeles. The 44-year-old sat on the judge's chair once again and was allowed to examine tape designs. Tape artist Joel Alvarez applied his warrior fashion to the nearly naked bodies. With his provocative, gawking wardrobe, he wanted to make "everyone else feel uncomfortable when you're on the catwalk." The female models, in particular, felt uncomfortable because of the XL platform heels without heels – a balancing act on tiptoes in the flurry of camera flashes.

Eliob (29) opens the warrior catwalk. "I feel hot and strong," he announces, and Klum's co-judges Hoermanseder and Hilton agree. Ray advances to the next round with the Paris Hilton rating of "Hot." Jannik (22) impresses in the Anwander shoot and as a warrior. Austrian Pierre (22) makes Marina Hoermanseder blush, and the ambitious Kevin (24) also "looks impressive." Everyone moves on.

Aaliyah's photoshoot was flawed, but her confidence during the walk was rewarded. Daniela (20) seemed insecure and tense. She fell on the catwalk, but that didn't mean she had to fly (yet). Xenia (26) couldn't enjoy the "challenging" show, and the head of the jury also felt it lacked "oomph." She was eliminated.

Josy's walk is unchallenged, Magdalena (21) scores with a slow-motion walk, and Canel (26) with a graceful cat walk. Zoe stumbles but skillfully plays it off. The 1.84-meter-tall Katharina waves Heidi Klum through. Eva's "tough look" is also convincing.

Nawin (28) touches his panties too often, which isn't "high fashion." "He was the weakest," Hilton announces his dismissal. Eliob gets his photo. The youngest contestant, Moritz, could have used some tanning cream, the ladies judge. His indifferent attitude reminds Klum of her daughter. She doesn't have a photo for him, though—Marina Hoermanseder pulls it out instead. "Now I know what it feels like to be eliminated," concludes a shocked but happy Moritz.
